Sleep – a poem

Published December 29, 2014 by Tiffany Thomas

Sleep was once my bestest friend
We saw each other every night.
I never thought our friendship would end
But my dreamscapes have been hit with blight.

No more prancing unicorns
No dark horses coming around
As under each eye bags begin to form
And echoes in my head resound

Who knew that silence could be so loud?!

The brighter side of the moon..

Yet another journey of a woman ..
